It’s unlikely we’ll ever see either actually made, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Square Enix produced a Theatrhythm Dragon Quest (and didn’t release it in the States).

Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition trailer, from the new official site. This game looks kind of awesome! This game about real-life Japanese warlords who pair up with Pokemon.
It looks like the game part is an isometric Pokemon SRPG in which you position your Pokemans by picking them up and moving them around. And then … also … Oda Nobunaga is there or something.
The music is greeeeeeeat.

Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition, a new mash-up SRPG coming from Nintendo and Tecmo Koei.
Everyone expected this weekend’s rumored reveal for the latest entry of the catch-em-all series to be Pokemon Gray, but this weird thing is way more interesting!
If you’re unfamiliar with Koei’s original Nobunaga’s Ambition, it was a well-received strategy title that took place during Japan’s Sengoku/Warring States period — a popular setting for games lately, so it isn’t that much of a surprise that Nintendo wants to experiment with this era.
But mixing it with Pokemon? Yeah, that shit cray.
