Greliz made me draw Samus in a Christmas sweater. It’s all his fault!
“THE ZERO SWEATER PROVIDES SUPERIOR MOBILITY IN HOLIDAY ENVIRONMENTS.”
At least I didn’t also draw Ridley.

I think it’s done!
If anyone reading this is going to be at PAX next weekend, come to the Fangamer VERSUS Attract Mode art show! You don’t need to have a PAX badge to get in, but we’ll be selling tickets at the Fangamer booth if you do have a badge. Admission is five bucks, and includes soft drinks, snacks and music! Adult beverages will be available for adults.
There’s going to be so much cool game art at this thing, anyone who doesn’t go will be a total loser. What else are you doing, attending panels? Seeing a concert? PFFT.

THIS IS AMAZING

Making progress on this thing! I figure I have a couple more days before I have to actually panic about getting it done on time to leave for PAX.

Happy Friday! (Saturday for some of you)

We have a special treat this weekend, where we will be posting songs from the past from a few of our artists, when our techniques were a bit less refined.  In other words, before we let our powers combine to form SNESology.

To start, Alex Roe has returned with Super Mario Kart meets Super Metroid.  And whaddaya know?  It’s super.  Also the video for his image is very giggle-worthy.

He tells us:

This is something I made in 2008. Super Mario Kart’s sounds are really intense in the lower registers so it seemed awesome to do something like Super Metroid.

It’s an interesting track, and the mixing of elements is still very unique.  You can check out Alex’s much newer submissions to SNESology below, but for now enjoy this oldie.

DOWNLOAD IT!

More to come tomorrow so stay tuned!
